Special Friend Katie (Mute Swan) White Rock Lake, Dallas TX

Once when I went White Rock Lake after a gap of a month or so Katie was around the deck and people enjoying its presence. Suddenly everyone turned to me. I was like what did I do? Katie got excited like little kid.

It turned its head left & Right after I went bit closer it turned around and started posing.

Everyone there went saying it's talking to you. I miss her. She is the reason I started going to White Rock Lake. In Indian mythology Hamsa, or Swan, is the vehicle of Hindu Goddess Saraswathi. In Hinduism, Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, learning and art. In the Vedas and the Purânas it is a symbol for the Soul.

Its fun watching it, For few years my weekend used to start with her. She used to be Queen of White Rock Lake.
